The Essay

There are several ways to speak our minds and express our selfs, through papers, speaches, and also through art in all of its forms. In the formal education the most apropiate way of speak someone's mind is what's known as essay. An Essay is a short work of writing where any theme it's explained in an organized way with three parts, an introdutcion, a body and a conclusion.
The root of the essay it's called the thesis statement, which will be the main idea the writer wants to develop in the paper. There are many tipes of essays; there's the Five Paragraph essay, which it's often used in schools as a pedagogical tool, the academic essay and the imitation essay.
The five paragraph essay is the one where the first paragraph contains the introduction, the body it's develop in the three middle paragraphs, an the conclusion is the last one. The Academic essay is more discursive and serious, it's used for some Universities as an a tool for aplication to them, it can have a word limit of between 2,000 to 4,000 words. And the Imitation essay is where the writer takes an author's paper, analyzes and gives his/her personal point of view of it.
The essay is the best way for a writer to learn how to organize his/her ideas, and also begin to develop their vocabulary in order to improve their writing skills.
